Photographer's Note

The little church of St. Prokulus is one of the oldest in our province and is very precious for its frescos. Some of them are dated back to the 8th century and are among the oldest in central Europe (see ws 1 and 2). Gothic frescos which had covered these have been removed in the 1920s and are shown now in the nearby museum. Other frescos from the 14th century are on the outside of the church.
