Still on the San Marco square in Firenze. With its famous convent and art school. It's an important hub in the local bus network too, full of tourists, students and salarymen going about their business.
I spotted this man. There was a remarkable stilness to him.
The city as cinematic story telling catalyst.

Another great capture from you. This time in the focus of interest there is a respectable gentleman who seems to get lost in deep thoughts. Very well spotted and executed excellently. I like the shallow depth which fits perfectly, the natural color tones and the crisp sharpness of the image. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice Sunday.

You're my neighbour, today but it took a long time for your photograph to initialise. For many minutes, it just displayed your name!
Anothe well collected photograph; this shows a gentleman, deep in thought. The light helps to gently define his facial features whilst the textures and colours of his clothes are clear and sharp. The narrow dof is great, it gives a context but is unobtrusive.
My only suggestion would be to have the man more to the r/h side of the frame so that he is walking into it. Otherwise a great shot.
Have a good Sunday,

Ahh, is he perhaps a prodigal son? Is that what worries him? ;-))
Hi Bert, funny to see you back here, AND me by coincidence...
You captured a nice portrait in great light. I would almost say that there is no better than in February, at least when the sun comes out. I like your DoF, he really stands out.

nice catch! Good light and a telling attitude. Makes me think of this French song called "Le Blues Du Businessman"...story telling catalyst for sure!

different portrait, it's a good sample of daily life, you captured a random scene in the street and I think it's a good idea, well done,

Somehow different from the post modern photos that I love to comment. A portrait. A successful one indeed. You captured the thoughtful moment of the man right on time. The isolation between FG and BG is so shallow.
Very well done!
Best Wishes from Ankara,

one more nice portrait with the man in his deep thoughts to walk in the street of the city.I like the light and the colour management as the clarity of the image.

Goed gedaan Bert, bedankt.

(Fun to do, I'm trying to do this too).
I like the position of the man, not in the right but more into the left
