This church was built up in Campo nell'Elba (Island of Elba) at the end of the XII century. It is constructed over an ancient building of the VII century and this explains the unusual plant with two aisles, divided by central columns and pillars, each one with its own apse. Only others three churches in the world have a similar configuration. In the XVI century it was included in the fortress of S. Pietro in Campo, and this guaranteed a greater protection. It conserves frescos of the XIV and XV century.

che strano taglio che hai dato alla foto , se posso io avrei elimanato la parte destra della foto con quell'orribile cartellone e avrei spostato l'inquadratura tutta sulla sinistra.
