I like it! it is such a nostalgic photo, for me Venice is always triste, like in Aznavour song, but here with these soft colours and gondollier under the bridge it is even more melancholic... Thanks

Buongiorno Vin...
hai ancora foto di Venezia da mostrare !! ...bello il titolo e la cornice nera si adatta perfettamente all'immagine enfatizzando ancor più l'atmosfera...Ottima la gestione della profondità di campo e regolazione dello sharp è da gran intenditore....l'unica perplessità compositiva è sull'angolo in basso a destra, con quel muretto, forse avrei gestito diversamente quel punto focale lì, certo è che se non ci fosse nulla sarebbe meno bilanciata comunque.

Ciao Vinicio, I like how you caught that person on the bridge, and the bg of colorful houses behind... in addition, maybe it's worth a version cropping out the bottom, to get a horizontal format with the top half only... regards, Daniel

Ogni volta è sempre un piacere ritrovare dei colossi sempre presenti.
Ed è sempre bello osservare che le foto sono ogni volta più belle!!
Anche se a volte raccontano di appuntamenti a cui non ho partecipato... lasciamo stare questa auto-critica che continua...

ma cambiamo discorso...
di questa foto mi piacciono molto i colori caldi dei palazzi in fondo.
Senza nulla togliere all'atmosfera della prima parte della foto.
Impazzisco per la gondola che si vede sotto il ponte un gesto così naturale per i veneziani ma totalmente nuovo per me.

Ma che luce morbida e sognante sei riuscito a catturare! Un'immagine che potrei definire onirica, non ci fosse la gente a darle un senso di realtà. Ci fossi stata io, te l'avrei fatta sparire (tranquillo: per pochi istanti, giusto il tempo del tuo scatto) ...ma io sono la solita vecchia stregaccia e questo si sa...

Ciao Vinicio,se non fosse per la gondola potrebbe essere stata scattata lungo il mio Naviglio...questa luce,il ponticello e la leggera foschia che avvolge le case mi ricorda molto casa mia...bellissima davvero,sia come pov che come colori,la tonalita' pastello e' super! Buona giornata,Luciano

This captures the mood of Venice as I remember it from 25 years ago (and hope to find again in about 3 weeks) - soft light, a touch of nostalgia, a touch of triste (quoting from some other comments here). Good positioning of the people overall.

Here you have caught a wonderful light atmosphere. This nearly "silhouettes" bridge works very well in front of the sunlit background. The noit everyday's composition with this big space for the water also is intriguing and interesting. A beautiful scenery ...

bello l'effetto morbido che hai dato alla tua foto. Ottima anche l'inquadratura verticale (che con le macchina in 2:3 a volte produce dei "corridoi lunghi lunghi"). Piccolissimo neo il gondoliere in quella posizione che sembra... reggere il ponte con la testa.
A questa foto do' una faccetta e mezza, anche se a commentare le foto altrui mi sembra a volte di essere uno di quegli sportivi da divano che criticano ferocemente il minimo errore degli atleti, ma di loro fanno fatica a stare in piedi.

mi ero perso questa, meravigliosa. I colori pastello sullo sfondo fanno da quinta al ponticello, la persona che ci cammina sopra è la ciliegina sulla torta.

Riconosco il tuo stile in questa foto che può definirsi con una sola parola: affascinante!
che colori e che luce! E il gioco di luci e ombre le conferisce un grosso impatto emotivo.

Volevo salutarti dato che per i mesi estivi sospenderò, come l'anno scorso, la mia attività su TE.

Ciao Vinicio, confesso che non ho letto le critiche che hai ricevuto per questo scatto ma credo sia superfluo leggerle o farsi influenzare da esse.
Di fronte a questo capolavoro di calde luci e colori pastello con magici riflessi dire che che mi sembra un quadro dipinto a olio sarebbe come sminuire l'arte fotografica che tu hai onorato con questo scatto.
In termini di punti te ne darei 100!!!

C'est une très belle vue pleine de poésie. C'est à la fois contrasté et plein de douceur, très net jusqu'au pont puis plus flou. J'aime beaucoup ce traitement des couleurs.
Bravo!
Pas le temps de traduire, mais c'est pour que tu travailles un peu le français!
