This is again the city of Castellammare Di Stabia taken at sunset. Castellammare is about 30 minutes south of Naples and situated on its famous Bay. The photo is taken from the Lungomare in the villa. In the background you can see the island of Ischia.

Hello Lisa,
A very effective sunset composition with lovely warm tones. I like how the little boat is counter balanced by the light at the end of the jetty. The image has a very appealing atmosphere. I can imagine sitting there and sipping my Negroni as the sun goes down and it's time for dinner :-)

Hello Lisa,

Photo of sunset are often boring but here you overcome the issue by this strong composition with the tiny boat and the pier. then it becomes a seascape and not only a sunset.
Good idea also the panoramic crop. It was necessary due to the place of the sun in the sky.

pensavo che avessi finito con le foto dell'Italia, invece vedo qui, ancora una splendida immagine presa in Itaia. Un tramonto davvero spettacolare e suggestivo! La barca in primo piano dà dinamicità alla scena.
Vorrei poter esserci io in quella barca per poter godere di questo magnifico tramonto, ovviamente non da solo!

Hi Lisa,
I do like a good sunset photgraph :)
You have presented a very nice one here :))
I like the horizontal lines of the various land masses.
The small boat with people adds perspective.
Beautiful bursting orange ball - it is great.
Melbournians may have to look at Wikapedia to find out what this orange thing is in the sky :)))
May I respectfully ask, is the level dropping slightly to the right?
Or are my efforts from last night still effecting my vision :(

Hello Lisa,
You got me jealous by looking at this sunset with the intense orange sky, boat and lighthouse(?)at the right spots. I think having the bit of FG strip of land is definitely better than just the water.
