This is the third image dedicated to solitude in space.

Lonely in the white.

The small mountain hut, perched on a slope and completely surrounded by snow
seems to keep watch from above on the small army of trees that guard the valley.

By day, light floods and enlivens the scene, but at night: who knows what dark omens
agitate the sleep of those who live there?

Sola nel bianco.

La piccola baita di montagna, adagiata sul pendio e completamente circondata dalla neve
sembra vigilare dall’alto sul piccolo esercito di abeti che presidiano la valle.

Di giorno la luce inonda e vivifica la scena, ma di notte: chissà quali oscuri presagi
agiteranno il sonno di chi la abita?

Bonjour Antonio,
carte postale d'hiver très réussie, le choix d'une position en hauteur a été judicieux. Les jeux d'ombres et de lumières accentuent le relief des surfaces enneigées, le choix du moment dans le journée est parfait.

I have discovered in your gallery so many treasures which I did not see before. Amazing landscapes collection. This here is wonderful too with an incredible surface of the mountain nicely dotted with the pointy trees. The composition is brilliant with the house positioned optimally in the frame.

Very beautiful and peaceful winter scenery in the high mountains.
The chalet looks difficult to reach but maybe we can not see the road with the mass of snow.
Very attractive is the mountain slope on the background, dotted with the many trees.

Hello Antonio,
this image is wonderfully composed and framed, exquisitely sharp and clear. The texture of the snow is captured in a very impressive way, both around the hut and on the opposite slope. I give up: This is a really lonely place, the snowy landscape has a grey hue, the daylight is no consolation. It's a lovely, quietly powerful, suggestive image, perfectly integrated to the theme. Well done!

Una bellissima immagine, Antonio, tutta nel tuo stile elegante e perfetto. Forse scattata dalle parti di casa mia lo scorso anno? Chissà... Due errori, che, da emerita rompiscatole quale sono, non esito a puntualizzare. Il primo non é tuo, ma nel commento di Jeppo: un maso? Ma quale maso? I masi hanno ben altre dimensioni, sono costruiti in solida muratura e hanno la stalla annessa; qui si tratta di una baita, come giustamente tu scrivi. In genere di proprietà dei cacciatori, che le abitano in autunno. E il secondo errore é proprio tuo: ma come, la piccola baita vigila dall'alto sul piccolo esercito di abeti? Se sta a valle, rispetto a loro...!! Antonio...no, no, non trovare scuse: qui la licenza poetica proprio non vale! Però la foto é molto bella.

Hello Antonio - The tree-studded snowy mountain slope is a wonderful setting for this lonely wooden house. And the few tracks certainly speak of the isolation of the location. Di notte, caro Antonio, qui si starà benissimo: la neve assorbe i rumori, che già qui non sono frequenti :-) al massimo qualche ululato di lupo e lo slittare delle stelle sulla volta nera della notte. vuoi mettere col chiasso assurdo delle città, grandi e piccole? e poi perché ci vuoi convincere che la solitudine è tanto terribile? lo si vede ad occhio nudo che non è la peggiore delle afflizioni ;-)
