Photographer's Note

Ferrara, a city in northern Italy placed between Bologna and Padova, is the city of the bicycles.
In the center of the city a pedestrian does not have to pay attention to cars, but to bikers.

Hello Stefano,
This is a creative composition with the elements well placed. I like the mystery of the cyclist and the row of parked bikes with the one white one contrasting with the black and grey tones. The red reflectors punctaute the picture beautifully. Even the circular shadow in the road (street lamp perhaps) adds well to this very well constructed image.
The kind of image that I enjoy and this one become a favourite for me.

Hello Stefano,

In Grenoble, where I live there are also many biker. The town is totally flat and moving with car is difficult with many jams, so people are more and more using bicycle. On my own, I go to work in bicycle.
I like here the point of view and the almost monochrome rendering broken by the red light.
Perhaps a too high contrast (but I am not on my calibrated screen at this time).

It doesn't appear pin-sharp and the shadow of the street sign is in the way for me, but I love this photograph anyway! The contre-jour lighting and the cyclist leaving the frame on the right give the shot a touch of mystery, and the splashes of colour raise it from monochrome. Good work!

Hi Stefano

A very good POV including the row of bicycles backlighted, with the red rear light acting as a warning while a biker was srolling down the street, giving life to the picture.
Apparently, the TE members don't appreciate, it's too far away from the castles and churches pictures, so not in the today site mood! Creation has disappeared, and only common post cards are rewarded!
