Photographer's Note

Lake Santa Croce and Alpago mountains viewed from the road running around the lake.
The lake of Santa Croce is the bigger internal lake of my region (Veneto) It's in the pre-Alps at the beginning of the road for Cortina & the Dolomites: a very quiet and relaxing place, surrounded from the Alpago mountains that you see here. From left to right:
'Dolada' (1938m.)
'Col Nudo' (2438m.)
'Cimon' (2350m.)
'Crep Nudo' (2207m.) and Messer (2230m.)

The presence of the snow together with the sun is the best premise for the daily thermic wind: an easy (but not so famous as lake Garda) spot for paragliding (from monte Dolada) and wind &/or kite surf.
Here even i have learned windsurf... (i'm not a "killer loop" champion, only a passionate of the sport ;-D))
