Photographer's Note

Poets' Gulf is well considered one of the most beautiful of the whole Mediterranean Sea.
Fantastic villages were built many centuries ago on the coasts, as the Cinque Terre, Lerici, Tellaro, Portovenere and many others.
All thaat area is today preserved by Unesco in the World Heritage Program.
I took that image from the top of the mount that closed the bay in the eastern side, near the village of Serra, where we went to have a dinner in a famous restaurant of Eastern Ligurian food (we eat very, very, very great food!).
For us, from Milano, that area is very near and easy to visit by car or train, but i think that all the women and men must go there almost one time in their life: it's one of the most beautiful and poetic place in the world (...and also exspansive!).
there are some of the most beautiful villages, fantastic weather (there is a spring of 9 months!), great food and wines, very clear and amazing sea...

i DON'T work at the Tourist Board of the Poets' Gulf!
