Photographer's Note

Bergamo Alta ("high Bergamo") is the older zone of the Bergamo city, surrounded from an acient high wall and buided over the hill threatening the modern part of Bergamo.
The most interesting way to reach the high zone is with an old rack-railway train, is long only some hundreds of meters but its arrive directly in the heart of the old city (if you don't live here, the use of a private car is normally forbitten).
Last sunday i was for the first time here, and my impression was of a cheerful city, with so many touristes but even so very interesting and with a pleasant atmosphere.
At Lest, the prizes was relatively low!! ;-D))
Here you see a part of the acient high wall and one of the many existing churches, perhaps 1/2hour before the sunset (also with a warm, soft light).
