This is a smashing shot! The thing that really makes this work is the light coming through the slight mist, giving the area in front of the mountains an incredible look, and a snese of space and depth. The sharp boat in the foreground really stands out against the background, and the diagonal line gives this a dramatic look. Stunning!

I have a sailing boat myself, and seeing a boat in such bad position in never nice, but artiscally your shot is very nice: light is perfect, and composition is great. The misty atmosphere is wonderful.

The contrast between the black sky and the goldy light on the fog are very good. Same with horizon, waves opposed with mast on the diagonal.

Ciao! Che bella atmosfera che sei riuscito a rendere! Sa proprio di "la quiete dopo la tempesta". La composizione è molto efficace con tutti quei detriti di vario genere sulla spiaggia: non solo la barca, ma anche una boa, spazzatura varia e le solite alghe. L'altra parte della composizione è un bellissimo primo mattino col la luce solare che proviene da una posizione ottimale per illuminare la scena. Splendida!
Per fortuna la barca non era mia...

Hey Alberto,

The sailboat seem to 'sleep' along with the early mist of breeze across the ocean. Such a 'golden sight' despite the rage the storm had done, it gives a smooth 'trance' like feel to the eye.
