Photographer’s Note

This photo has been taken during a safety walk to avoid lying too long like a seal on the Porto Giunco beach near Villasimius, after a small ride uphill I came to enjoy this view towards the Capo Carbonara, which is the point dividing the east and south coasts of Sardegna. Off the capo is the "isola dei cavoli" which you see flattened from this point.

The main point of interest to spot on this island is the lighthouse, that I captured here using this convenient natural viewfinder, of course given the relative distances between me, the viewfinder and the subject I had to use this rather unusual aperture and up the ISO to get enough speed for my focal length.
