I have taken quite a few shots of the colloseum, but this is one of my favourites. Rather than just the building itself I felt the line of cypress trees in the foreground just added a little more interest. They mark the way of the old road from the forum to the colloseum.
I have posted a couple of other Rome pictures in the past, neither of which seemed to get a great deal of response. If you like the picture please let me know, but if you dont and you can offer positive feedback as to why I would love to hear from you. Many thanks |

I love the subject. The Roman colloseum is a great feat of roman architecture.
I can tell it was a very sunny day, as the columns in the foreground are washed out. Was the picture taken at mid-day?
