It looks like a fire in the sky ... a fantastic capture. Good application of 'rule of thirds' here .... giving more space to your main subject ... well composed. Good colors and contrast ... the bird is a bonus. Well done! tfs

complimenti per aver catturato questo momento.
L'altro ieri c'è stata un'atmosfera quasi surreale per tutto il giorno con delle stranissime nuvole, verso l'ora del tramonto sono passato in auto da P.zza Castello e poi ho preso il Sempione, c'erano delle visioni incredibili con le nuvole scurissime e i palazzi illuminati da una luce molto calda e intensa. Nell'ultima parte del viaggio oltre alle belle nuvole che hai ottimamente rappresentato c'erano delle particolarissime sfumature molto vicine al viola.
Mi piangeva il cuore a non avere con me la digitale, ma era certo che avrei potuto contare su di te per immortalare quei momenti!

Incredible effect on the sky, indeed, Paolo and nice to see the three shots for a better understanding of the phenomenon.
That inverted 'i' is so strangely beautiful that I wonder if you painted with pp... ;-) Love the atmosphere and good capture of the bird on this one.

These type of cloud formations and bold sky colors don't come around very often. You did a great job of taking advantage of this opportunity. You are good with adding small but very beneficial details in your photos. I really ilke the black bird flying in the frame. Great work!

That was some weather system Paolo! Coupled with the evening light you had perfect conditions for some dramatic images. I agree with your choice for main post for the light on the buildings and the bird in this one adds extra interest.

me gusta esta composición donde nos muestras la impresionante belleza de la naturaleza con estas enormes y amenazantes nubes, y la combinas con la obra del hombre, con las partes altas de los edificios de la gran ciudad. Ese contraste es muy gráfico, tiene mucha fuerza visual, me gusta.
Además, la luz y los colores que has conseguido son muy atractivos, los tonos cálidos anaranjados que la luz del sol crea en las nubes se mezclan con sus tonos gris plomo, y la paloma volando nos da un toque vital y dinámico, con mucho simbolismo. Fantástico trabajo!

You too have been chasing out the nice colours of the sunset. Here the goldish contrast against the dark cloud is simply wonderful. The composition really benefited with the bit of the city roofs. Well done.
