Hi Lili,
The color dominant is very nice and the silhouette is a strong eye focus point that catches the eye, but I do not like the crop, the area behind him is too important and the large dull area in the sky is not necessary, 1/3 sky would be enough, and it would be just the part that displays the best tones, anyway, all the potential is there to have a great photo.

This photo wouldn't be the same without the walking man has he renders it so dynamic. Of course the evening light and the way it reflects on the water is beautiful and there's so much depth created thanks to your pov.

We can see the effect of sunset and the darkness it brings to the shore perfectly.with your POV and scenery decision, you emphasized on loneliness as well for there is one person walking along an island. Surely Marinella is not an island but when one looks at this scenery, it is covered with big rocks that are combining a set of small islands so it would not be wrong to assume this could be a man living on an island.

the sky color and your frame selection is perfect.

Maybe the photo should have been in a bigger size . It does not lack quality of sharpness but it is not clear if there is another person standing on one of those rocks or not

Fantastic pastel colors in the sky and the reflection of the water. I love the person splashing in the water as it breaks up the rather still water. Your shoreline is well positioned in the frame as well. Very well done.

Hello Liliana,

Exquisite silhouette shot, with the gentle waves lapping the beach. In the spirit of TE, I would like to offer some constructive criticism. There might be a little too much sharpening as the outline of the man and the wavebrakers appear a little white. Also by changing the aspect ratio to a golden rectangle (1.618:1.0), or 800x494 pixels, you could reduce the sky. But the positive aspects of this image far outweight any negative.

A very good silhouetted compo with superb pinkish light and color tones and nice repetition of the small islands with person walking in the sea adding a human element...
It has some signs of extreme sharpening(white line around the man and islands, but i like the effect as well!

A great looking twilight shot Liliana. Perfect timing, catching those pastel pinks in the sky and the man just coming out of the water. The reflection of the light on the water looks great also, as well as the framing. The piers (or piles)in the background look a little over sharpenede but this just may be due to the lighting.

Liliana, you might have spend 14 hours on the road and yet you got there certainly at the right moment to celebrate the right light in the blue hour. Not only the colors were right on spot but also the person in silhoutte wading through the water gives the perfect moment to release the shutter and forget all the day long travel. It gives the flavour of what this vacation must have been.

Hi Lili, I enjoyed all your recent sunset photos, I think you have a natural feel for the subject. However, this one is probably my favourite b/c of the human element incorporated here, as well as the superb reflections, pastel sunset colours, and very sharp silhouette. Beautiful evening light. The color of the sea licking the shore is splendid. Good idea to use a human presence in water. But I would have crop the top of white sky and the right of the image to place the man exactly on a strong point and the horizon at the third.
The framing and its colors is marvelously choosen.
