All roads lead to Rome. And this one, Via del Conciliazione leads to the very heart of the religious Rome.
Look at the man (maybe a pilgrim) in the centre of the picture, and feel the magnetic force of the giant cathedral, the 'Caput Mundi', the head of the catholic world.
The avenue of the Vatican was titled according to the reconciliation of the Papal State and Mussolini's Italy in the 1920s and finalized the reunion procedure of Italy started in the 19th century. |

Hi Jalab,
good shot of a renown place. Simple and nice. The B&W adds a sense of solemnity to the whole scene.
TFS.
Hello Jalab.
You use very well the blak and white.
This is a great telephoto focal lenght's shot.
The lines are correctly vertical and the different contrast between forecast and background gives depth to the picture.
Well done.
Best regards.
Bobo.

Jalab,
Nice capture of a well known place. This particular view is very special to me.... I proposed to my girlfriend in a very similar spot so the view was the same!
Nice work,
Richard.
