Hi Phil,
nice composition with great reflaktions on water.
Wath makes your photo completely particularly, is the light.

Hello Phil,

I've been away for a few days, and have been busy getting a new computer set up.

I saw this one when you first posted it, but didn't have time to write a critique then.

Some superb reflections in the dark water, and an excellent composition. The jetty in the FG and the length of the gondola makes a strong lead-in to the other covered boat and the arched bridge.

A difficult image to capture, with the combination of deep shadows and very bright sunlight on the buildings, but you have rightly concentrated on the shadow detail here, and it doesn't matter to me that there some areas of burn-out in the highlights.
