Photographer’s Note
Veczemju or Mantini Cliff is 480 m wide, up to 3.5 m high sandstone cliff at the Baltic Sea, Riga Bay. Deposits from middle Devonic period, Burtnieki series. Cliffs have got many relieves, notches, alcoves and caves. In some places sandstone is light coloured, in northern part of cliffs there is seen pink and bluish clay. Before the storms of January 2005 the width of cliffs was 160 m only.
The stony seashore of Vidzeme is a unique example reflecting variety of the Baltic Sea costal area. It includes stone-covered seashore part, rocks, inexpressibly valuable meadows and shores that are a result of storms. Brilliant nature mosaic is threatened by processes of the seashore. The stony seashore of Vidzeme goes into Complex Nature Reserve "Vidzeme Stony Seacoast".

Hi Inguna!
What a nice landscape you have captured! From the bottom to the top, you have got very interesting elements. The cliffs and the trees and the sky are excellent, but the shore-element is too small, I think.
