Photographer’s Note
The data about the church are since the 17th century. It was a small log house without tower. The new church was built in 1780-1789, but was destroyed in WW1. The church was rebuilt in 1935 (architect P.Kundziņš). That gone through WW2 without devastations, but was demolished in Soviet occupation period. Only in 1990 (after Soviet occupation) the parish can to return in church and realized reconstruction works.
