Euregio Bodensee (1/5)

Euregio Bodensee is a venture to offer uniform tariff for all public transport on the Bodensee (Lake Constance) region. In 2008 price of a day ticket varies from 21 euros on two zones to 29 euros for all zones. More info on http://www.euregiokarte.com/. (German only, but the concept is easy to understand.) With this ticket you can travel in Germany, Switzerland, Austria...

...and Liechtenstein. When I travelled through Liechenstein I only noticed it afterwards from the map. The railway that goes through it is owned and operated by Austrian Railways. Long distance trains between Austria and Switzerland pass the country without stopping. But there's also a regional service a few times a day that serves Liechtenstein on four stops that are within the country borders.

Of course there needs to be a stop in FL, otherwise how would you quickly drop off the train to open an account at the bank office in the station buildings and deposit there your €€€ out of reach of the FIN-Tax administration ;-)
And actually it seems they take great care in displaying the fact you have reached this tiny financial heaven, onyly written twice on the building ! Nice sepia conversion but don't worry their banking system is up to modern standards...

Hello Kari,
it looks like a retro-photo :) I like the sepia version (though I do prefer colour versions, in most cases), and the composition is good. well, I'm looking at it and I feel as if I have travelled through time back to the past, some 100 years ago..
