Photographer’s Note

L'arbre était couvert de pustules.
Il était parasité comme un mauvais destin.
Il semblait sorti d'une steppe africaine.
Il avait raté sa transplantation.
Les montagnes étaient enrouées ce matin.
Elle se débattaient avec des brumes tenaces.
Heureusement, la lumière était généreuse.
Le petit Etat riche avait des airs de steppe.

Hi Bertrand! Have a landscape exceptional. The composition impressive the tree have the right place and the prospect impress with the mountain in the background has mysteries atmosphere that is interesting. Appreciable picture.

Cet arbre plein de boules de gui me plaît. Et il y a une montagne qui me fait penser au Fujiyama derrière; la montagne que l'on voit rarement car cachée dans les brumes...

Bonsoir Bertrand,
Une belle compo, mélange de chaud et de froid.
La brume donne un côté mystérieux et envoûtant à l'arrière plan.
Même cet arbre semble se tendre vers la montagne, comme pour mieux la distinguer au travers du rideau de brume.

l'arbre avec son ombre est bien dans le cadrage, mais ce que j'aime c'est la montagne arriére plan avec la brume et la lumiére générale de l'image, beau post

Bonjour, Bertrand. Une composition très bien balancée avec l'arbre sur lagauche qui ouvre la vue sur le bosquet et au-delà, vers la montagne. L'atmosphère hivernale est encore bien présente. Tout compte fait, je me demande si je ne me serais pas déplacé encore un peu à droite pour montrer un peu plus de l'arête descendant vers la gauche.

you're right, the scene does look like Africa, and I love the phrase "le petit Etat riche avait des airs de steppe", I find it describes this scene perfectly. I like a lot how you have composed the photo, the long shadow of the tree forming a strong horizontal line is a great way to mirror the horizon line and create the contrast with the strong vertical of the tree, for me the result is very haromonious. excellent work!

What surprise me about this photo, Bertrand, is that somehow, reminds me to an African landscape, kind of Kilimanjaro view, and it is because of the tree, for sure. Thanks for make me dream with Africa from such an european view.

Bonjour Bertrand,

Très belle composition avec ce jeux de lumière entre la montagne éclairé mais embrumée en arrière plan et cet arbre qui ne montre que son côté ombragé. Les couleurs sont très jolies et la brume donne presque l'impression que la montagne n'est que de passage; un peu comme si c'était la poussière qu'elle génère en passant ...

Un texte qui colle parfaitement à la photo.
Cet arbre est magnifiquement malade, malgré la pureté de l'air. La vieillesse a fait son oeuvre.
Le paysage est plein de paradoxes, Il a un faux air de lassitude, mais la chaleur et la lumière arrivent, le cycle de la vie va reprendre.

C'est vrai qu'il pourrait avoir avoir un petit air d'acacia africain cet arbre, et alors, le Kilimanjaro aurait une nouvelle forme!
Mais il semble plus en danger avec le gui qui le ronge, qu'avec les girafes.
Mais non, c'est bien l'Europe. J'aime beaucoup cette photo et particulièrement la façon dont la montagne s'estompe de + en + à gauche et disparaît totalement après l'arbre. Cela crée un effet très étrange.

totu petit pays que l'on n'a pas l'habitude de voir sur TE et poirtant, au même titre que l'Autriche et la Suisse toutes proches, il est d'égale beauté.
La brume masque les montagnes que l'on dirait d'une autre photo.

Une photo que j'aime beaucoup, un arbre seul devant un beau paysage qui se perd dans la brume. L'ombre allongée nous laisse croire que c'est le matin et les couleurs sont parfaitement rendues. La composition est excellente et la note, on ne peut mieux.

This tree it`s not the main subject of your shot,becuase you already composed an entire landscape very well.
The use of the background it`s great and foreground details are just the way it should be.

Je vote évidemment pour la photo, mais aussi pour le texte que je viens de découvrir...
C'est vrai qu'on se croirait en pleine steppe, seul l'arbre (pommier ?) trahit l'endroit.
Superbe lumière matinale qui met bien en valeur la composition.
