Sareiserjoch at Malbun, Liechtenstein

It was the 28th December and we had no chance to go skiing on the east side of the valley. Sareis in 2000m was a nearly snow-free area … and so also tourist-free.

Hi Achim, amazign view with a wonderful light and colours. good POV too.
unfrtunally the snow situation is really bad also in that side of the Alps. Just only over 1800 meters!

Ein symptomatisches Foto für diesen Winter und wir werden uns wohl dran gewöhnen müssen. Dein Foto gibt einen schönen Überblick über diese Massenabfertigungsstation (was für ein Wort ;-) und man braucht nicht viel Fantasie um sich hier die volle Action vorzustellen...

Hallo Achim,
gut versuchen wir mal Winter zu spielen. In einer Woche fahre ich in das Montafon, derzeit 70 cm, hoffentlich gibt es noch mehr statt weniger. Die Farben kommen sehr gut zur Geltung aber die Leere, so ein paar Leutchen wären doch besser. Frau Holle z.B.
An sich ein schönes aber auch ein trauriges Bild.

Hello Achim. An unusual sight: a restaurant without people on the terrace, although the sun shines. Nevertheless a picture worth seeing. Very well composes. The flag left in the picture gives additionally the correct quality to the photo. Very beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.

There seems to be a bit of snow, but not enough for skiing I see. Nicely framed shot of the restaurant in lovely light.

It is so small that I tend to forget that it exist. One day I have to go and visit the place. It really looks good. Very nice picture and pity nobody was there to add some life. Well done.

Wonderful composition with a very rich color's composition.
Excellent sense of depth and nice luminosity.
The colors it self, are very well defined, with good contrast and saturation.

Yes, it certainly looks like you had the place to yourself Achim. Love all the neatly placed chairs just waiting. The wood on the side of the building is a beautiful colour. Nice.

The snow doesn't look to be enough for skiing...Good view with the restaurant & empty deck chairs. The flag adds a splash of colours.

A luminous view and a desolated feeling that fits well to the no snow tragedy so far, it seems it's gonna improve in a few days, let's hope for the best, the floating FL flag is a nice detail.
