Nom d'un chien :-)... quel chateau!
Ce genre de paysage a du te changer du Cambodge. Tu as bénéficié d'un ciel splendide (un poil (!) trop brumeux)... mais la perspective est excellente... on le comprend en regardant les autres photos du même site.

Certes c'est moins exotique que l'Asie, mais ce n'est pas pour autant que c'est moins beau : c'est différent, tout simplement, et tu démarres plutôt bien avec ce paysage somptueux.

Less exotic but nevertheless very beautiful with that wonderful background. For me, the mist is very good in a sense of creating a clear separate level and also by giving the right depth between the castle and the mountains. Well done.

Beautiful image! What makes this really special is the combination of the castle on the hill with the mountains in the background. I like that effect of the atmosphere which tends to fade out objects in the distance. The result is that the mountains look almost mystical. Superb!

superbe avec cette légère brume derrière ce chateau perché, magnifique endroit, placement et cadrage parfait pour faire une excellente photo, certes moins exotique, mais heureusement qu'il n'y a pas qu'en Asie qu'on peut faire des belles photos !

Ces montagnes dans la brume créent un superbe arrière-plan qui met bien en valeur les teintes plus contrastées du château. Le point de vue donne bien l'idée d'un lieu qui domine mais qui est aussi lui-même dominé par ce massif. Autre style c'est vrai mais j'aime beaucoup aussi.

both the landscape and the castle look stunning... i ve been to switzerland and austria but liechtenstein is still a mysterious country for me somehow... the light conditions was not the best may be but this is a beautiful shot bertrand...

The light and the hazy background are beautiful and create a lovely winter mood. I find the composition very good, the castle is placed well in the foreground and bottom half of the photo, and the mountain peaks are a great background. Thanks a lot for sharing!

your dreamy picture remindes me the time I spent with Liechtenstein family during their visit in Austerlitz in 2006. In summer I was in this castle but I did not have big luck with light conditions to photograph.
I like your composition and I think the best POV for this majesty castle.

My grandmother was from Liechtenstein, so you better call me "Madame de Kehl" from now on :) Just kidding, we have no blue blood as far as I know but the Fuerst was an important person for my grandmother, that's for sure. She took that very serious and loved to make a little "drama" out of it. You have managed to make quite a spectacular shot considering the pale light you had. I like that you left just a small part castle but plenty of space for the mountains in the back (Liechtenstein has a small ski area I used to go when I was little). Nice indeed ... Barbara.

A bit hazy on the right side but that only enhances the warm dreamy effect of the castle. Great presentation in wonderful light and the snowpeak mountains add great interest in the imegae...it's wonderful.

Excellent shot, Bertrand, despite the hazy atmosphere you had quite the right light, the light difference between the castle and the bg mountain is a very important factor here...

Je vois que toi aussi tu as ete happe par les sirenes helvetiques... voir plus, tour d'Europe ??? Je le connais ce chaterau la mais je ne l'ai jamais photographie, a tort car il presente toutes les caracteristiques du genre de chateau qui me plait, ici le fait que ce soit brumeux le detache bien de son arriere plan je trouve. Pas beaucoup de neige au FL non plus a ce qu'il semble...

- Jolie composition, c'est à double échelle ce château qui domine probablement la région, est lui-même dominé par ce massif imposant, belle lumière aussi et la brume est un plus car elle efface un peu l'arrière plan faisant ressortir par la même le sujet principal, le sharpen excellent, bravo !

Petit pays Bertrand,
mais qui relaye tant les beautés de la Suisse que de l'Autriche, un passage presque obligé quand on visite un des deux de ses pays limitrophes.
Belle profondeur accentuée par cette brume qui détache bien l'avant plan.

Hello Bertrand,

Moins exotiques mais tout autant belles ! Ce chateau se dresse fièrement sur son rocher ! Il domine la brume de ses murs solides et réchauffés par cette belle lumière ! Mais il est tout de même dominé par la nature comme le prouve ce superbe sommet qui semble rendre ce chateau tout petit et chetif par rapport au coté massif de la montagne !

Joli point de vue et très bonne composition une fois de plus. La vue en contre-plongée nous fait nous sentir petit face à ce château, qui paraît lui-même petit face à la montagne. Le château se détache parfaitement de la montagne grâce à cette brume persistante.

A voir les autres photos proposées sur ce lieu, c'est une région d'Europe superbe. Ces belles montagnes Suisses sont un bel arrière plan qui fait bien ressortir ce joli et intéressant château. Le brume légère donne un agréable contraste. Il n'y a pas que les banques d'intéressantes au Liechtenstein !!!

The mist in the BG actually creates a kind of thin veil making the imposing castle stand out. The mist also creates the layers, more visible on the right. Wonderful light which falls on the snowy peaks & also illuminates the castle. Excellent!

Il était justement question du Lichtenstein aujourd'hui (à la BBC, question fiscale débattue par l'UE) - J'ai travaillé pas loin de là mais jamais vu cette petite enclave, ce château est splendide et le décor impressionnant !
