Yes, I know - we are all sick of too beautiful sunsets. But, we like them anyway, don't we? :-)

That's why, I couldn't refrain from posting one picture from beautiful Lithuania depicting a sunset. As the place I took the photo in is linked with sunsets as no other one in Lithuania. It is the famous pier in the town of Palanga - a Lithuanian Rio on the Baltic :-)

People gather on the pier every day to watch sunsets, and then go to clubs and pubs (although I haven't found any good pub worth recommending:-))


So, once again, sorry about this sunset, but you know...:-)

hi Kris.very nice shot i think.specially the pier which draws the look to the sun which is the main subject.parallel lines of waves are the next positive point of your shot.thanks for posting.

Don't worry about to many sunsets, this one is really worth posting. The sky looks like a cauldron full f liquis lava. As a matter of fact you could have published the shot upside down and it would still look great.

hello Kris,
no need to appologise, every sunset is unique, and everybody's version of this much-photographer phenomenon is unique. what I like best here are the golden colours and that you have preserved textures both in the water and in the clouds. the pier is a great lead-in line towards the horion. very nice work, my compliments.
