Kaunas Castle Photo

Photographer’s Note

Ruins of Kaunas Castle with extra lights around wall edges installed for Christmas. Such special lighting will only stay there for another few days.

This is a result of 8 sec and 20 sec exposures combined to increase dynamic range. Both were taken with 22 mm zoom, AV mode, ISO-200. Remote release cord was used to ensure that camera stays do not move between exposures.

Very interesting picture taken in very different conditions!
The result is really beautiful and very attractive, with wonderful light and colors! The contrast between the Castle clarity and the darkness in the sky is also a special feature in this one!
