Photographer’s Note
Clervaux Castle is situated in the middle of the town with the same name.
Built in the 12th century, the castle was enlarged and fortified considerably in the 15th century. Living accommodation was added in 1634/35.
During the Battle of the Bulge (December 1944), a fire ravaged the castle, which was completely restored afterwards.
Now it houses the local authority offices of Clervaux village, the museum of models of Luxembourg castles (very interesting!), a museum about the Battle of the Bulge and a photographic exhibition; "The Family of Man".

Fantastic catch, interesting point of view.
Towering castle, the lamp tying it down to the earth and the bird high up in the sky giving nice measure of height. Unless it is not a bird but a flag but I like the bird better.
Congratulation, fine composition and technically very good.
Thanks
Chris
