Nice light and sharpness and good compo. Very nice picture! If I may, I would have tried to delete the blurred wood branch on the lower left part of the photo: it disturbs a bit the nice,compact background!

Simple detail in a good setting this lone branch with the water drops John. The right dof for this setting.

Hi John, excellent composition with this branch going diagonally across the frame, and the DoF is really good and makes a neccessary distinction of focus. Good title catching the essence of the picture. My only slight critique would be that the shot seems oversharpened, it is especially seen by pixelisation in the blurred areas, where it should be smooth.

Je note ici une belle diagonale de branche, c'est une composition très intéressante par son cadrage.
Je note un minime excès de sharp visible autour des brindilles.
Mais j'apprécie quand même.

bonjour John,
c'est simple mais très efficace dans la sensation restituée. On sent bien le froid et l'humidité. Bon cadrage en diagonale.
