You get a very beautifull POV. All around the monument was not nice but you found the best way to give a nice elegance to this house. Nice light also.

Nice spring time photo. I think that the building in the backgroud steals a bit of the attention from the flower, but the photo would not be good with out it. I really like the detail you've captured and your attention to detail. Very nice photo. TFS.

En effet, le retour du printemps est bien représenté ici avec cette jolie fleur au premier plan, celle-ci attire notre regard vers cette très vieille porte. La restauration des bâtiments est nécessaire pour la conservation du patrimoine.

Well done going for maximum DOF in this one, Jack. And the sunlight is also a good helper to deliver a whopping crispness in the textural details of the tower's stonework. Nice lighting and certinaly a fine seasonal touch to have the first spring flowers included as a foreground opener.

la profondeur de champ est effectivement très étendue à cause de l'ouverture très petite ! J'aime bien la mise en parallèle de cette petite fleur et de la tour en arrière plan ! Il y a juste les échafaudages qui dérangent un peu trop à mon goût !
Sinon, il s'agit d'un bon exercice !

Hi Jack, nice depth of field here. The tower is the Vauban tower and it gives access to Pfaffenthal! Not that it matters, since nobody gives a .... about where it stands. The weather is warm now and the sun is shining all day!
