Photographer’s Note

Mustafa Pasha Moschee is located under the Skopje fortress. it was built in 1492 by Mustafa Pasha, whose name in inscribed on a plaque above the gate. Artichitecurally, the temple is a cubical structure capped with a large cupola, 16m in diameter. The impression is complemented by the porch, which is supported by four marble pillars. The 47m high minraret and the mosque are built with cut marble. The interior is decorated with floral motifs.

(Within the complex there was a medresa (a religios school) and an imaret (canteen). Within the complex today there are the Turbe of Mustafa Pasha (right next to the mosque), and a sarcofagus, believed to mark the grave of Uma, one of Mustafa PAsha’s daughters.

Hello Achim,

The minaret is the real eye catcher between the green environment.
The dome of the mosque makes absolutely impression.

Hello Achim.
The tower is exactly in the middle of the shot, but it doesn't matter: the dome is well-decentered and all the items around are well placed. The outcome is a good shot, high sharpened, colorful and with a great depth.

Bonjour Achim,
un excellent panaché de couleurs, vives à l'avant plan et plus brumeuses à l'arrière paln, sans que la profondeur n'en souffre.
La tour est un peu centrée.
Tu as bien adouci des lumières qui avaient l'air trsè dures.

Your high POV works particularly well. There is plenty of foliage with which to frame the mosque, yet we have a clear view of both the dome and the minaret. Well done

The trees are framing well the buildings. The point of view is alloeing us to see the details and colors of the architecture of the Mosque. It is also taking our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving deprth to the composition. The light is enhancing the colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.
