Interior of St John's Co-Cathedral in the centre of Valletta. Definitely worth a visit while in Malta. Photography is allowed without flash inside cathedral but forbidden in the adjoining museum.

Handheld, 18mm, ISO 800. I used more unsharp mask than usually to give gold the glow it deserves.

Since you weren't allowed to use your flash, you have a much better picture for it... the ambient lighting is beautiful. I love the immense detail that is shown by all the small pools of light.

it's not the only photo of St John's Co-Chatedral on TE but it's the most beautiful I've seen. Excellent photo-angle shot.
