In Moldova, in the place called Orhei Vechi (Old Orhei) there is a stone cross on the edge of a rock. An old tradition says that if you have a wish you should touch the cross and your wish will come true. And for a quick fulfilment you can put some money under a small stone in front of the cross.
As we made our wishes we just went further. I was the last and just turned back to take another picture and saw that boy. He appeared from the edge and I was wondering how he was managing to stay there. He smiled to me and showed me a sign to keep silence. I took the picture and went after my group.
Later I realized that maybe the reason he was there wasn't just boyish foolhardiness but more pragmatic one...
I'm not sure. It was just a thought, funny one :-D
