Sveti Stefan used to be a tidal island, but is now permanently connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus.

Although it is closed, the beaches north and south of the island are open to the public, for free.

Beach side parking costs 12 Euro, and if you want to save this fee, you can leave the car on the road that leads to the place, then walk downhill.

Its postal code is 85315.

A comprehensive view of the place with the island well detached over the sea blue, definitely a great place to visit even though 12€ for parking sounds more like a swiss than a montenegrin price !

Hi Daniel,
A beautiful view on this ex-island. The buildings seem pretty old, partly still behind the old city walls.
The park and building in front almost look like it is an important building.
Well composed with the trees in front. Good colors and light management as well.
