Photographer’s Note

In the early 15th century a big Turkish fleet advanced into the Adriatic sea to attack the seaside towns, devastating the city of Kotor.

The Pastrovics clans came to rescue and they managed to win the battle against the Turkish forces, and their fleet as well.

Then they decided to build a fortress on the rocky island near the coast, erecting a church to their protector, St. Stephan (Sveti Stefan).

Hi Daniel,
This approach in a closed angle on the village offers a great result.
I like the graphism of the red roofs in this fantastic architecture, with the green vegetation that also covers some fronts, and its strong contrast with the deep blue of the sea in background.
The light is perfect, and the chromatic quality has a great level.

This is more like a painting really, than a photo. A cubistic study with just a few colours on your palette. Even some small parts of green here! A very attractive composition!

It is a place which is less explored by tourists so it must be lovely there:)

Daniel,
This is a great view of these red roofed buildings. The red roofs are contrasted nicely by the blue sky. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detail.
