Montenegrin Alcatraz Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taken near Virpazar, photo of Skadar lake that separates Montenegro and Albania, the largest lake in the Balkan Peninsula.
The small island in the center was an old Turkish fortress transformed by Nicolas I into a local Alcatraz (no sharks here though).
The lake is very rich in fish and the local restaurant(Pelican) prepares the most delicious carp and Trout that I've eaten so far

Hello Warren,

You have chosen a really interesting pov, using the vegetation to create natural borders. THe bright colours and lush greens make a good contrast with the cool blues of the sea and sky.

Good composition! You have made the scene very desirable!
