Kotor and Tivat bays Photo

Photographer’s Note

At 1800m hight above sea level , looking over the fjord - the only one not in the scandinavian region.
The kotor bay is a 4 figers-shape of bays and this is one side of it.
further to the left is the town of Tivat.
Montenegro is a haven to nature-lovers-photographers.

Hello Ike,
Great view of Kotor Bay.The panorama is beautiful. Unfortunately, the haze caused by moisture reduce the sharpness of the photo.

Hi Ike,
It is difficult to capture such a sweeping landscape from a mountain; however, you have succeeded. The closer detail of the rocks and evergreen in the foreground adds depth as does the drama of sunlight and cloud shadow on the high finger of land. The curve of blue water also highlights the peninsula. There is also some detail in the far shore as it fades into the mist. It is altogether a lovely composition.

Incidentally, there are also fjords in New Zealand and British Columbia.
