Orange Cup Corals. Well, corals are tiny animals that generaly group together forming colonies that attach to surfaces or to the sea floor. This specific coral prefers shaded areas, clear waters and some water movement. A few polyps may be extended during the day, but full extension of entire colony normally occurs only at night. It´s also known as "Orange Flower Coral". I did this capture during a night dive in the "small wall" in Bonaire, Netherland Antilles, Caribbean. It´s strange to post it like Netherlands...
