The red bricks of the impressive west wall of Horn Castle rise up for about 15 meters!
The side of the castle we can see on this image dates back to medieval times.

The castle is situated at the edge of the village Horn. It's lying a bit higher than the surrounding parc. There are lots of high trees in the parc. Only in winter and early spring the castle can be seen from all sides in all it's glory. In summer there is to much foliage. (But the parc then is an oasis of shade and tranquility).
