Photographer’s Note
Zierikzee is a small city, located on the former island of Schouwen in the Dutch province of Zeeland.
About 60 km south from Rotterdam, it is a very beautiful historical town with more than 500 monuments on the list.
You can have nice walks in the center of the town, but also along the canals around it.
It is a place where writers and painters found inspiration.
Zierikzee and closeby Dreischor appear to have been untouched throughout the centuries.
The years have gone by, but history is still very much alive.
The church is surrounded by picturesque houses with delightful facades, exactly how it was a hundred years ago.

Quite an interesting shot. I might have perhaps closed the aperture a bit more to achieve a deeper DOF. The architecture looks magnificent and it was a good idea to include those people on the left. They fill the picture with a bit of life.
