A nice day brought me to Sluis in the Netherlands with my bike.

Windmill mill "De Brak" is always a nice subject for photographers

In the Middle Ages, Sluis had tens of mills, of which only three were left in 1920. The only remaining mill of Sluis on 't Meul'ende (Moleneind) is mill' de Brak '. This windmill mill was called "The Brak", to a French hunting dog breed (Braque), striking their nose during the hunting.
The mill was built in 1739 and was the first stone mill in the area. The mill is a so-called "upper spine with theorem". The flour milled with the mill is used in our brasserie (and in restaurant De Lindenhoeve) for the preparation of our artisan miller cakes. You can also buy our flour in the mill. For example, pancakes flour to start at home.
To date, the mill is still active and accessible to the public.
