There are some people here on TE that like reflections, and specially the inverted images. For Paolo, Gunnar, Iain, ... the mill from Keukenhof garden.
Keukenhof is the place to see spring blossom. The park is unique, world famous, and has been one of the most popular destinations in the Netherlands for sixty years now. Haven’t seen Keukenhof? Then you haven’t seen the Netherlands. You won’t find such an abundance of colours and fragrances anywhere else. More than seven million flowers form a glorious decor for the most beautiful photos.
The famous Polder Mill from Groningen (a grain windmill) has been in the park since 1957, it originally dates from 1892. The windmill was donated by the Holland America Line. Every day a miller explains how the mill works and when there is enough wind the blades of the mill will run. This building is part of the National Heritage list. The Keukenhof Mill was fully restored in 2008.

Good Morning Malgo,
Ha, ha, the duck is just about to enter the mill!
Even in reverse, you have a lovely composition, the colours are bright and attractive, whilst the slight ripples give the impression of modern, impressionistic painting!
There is always something utterly compelling about reflections, particularly to a photographer.
Have a lovely day,

I love this reflection Malgorzata! It is so colorful and unusual! You included a little bit of reality and I like it!
ChrisJ (93428) 2012-05-10 3:01
Lovely impressionist reflections that are reminiscent of a nice oil painting. Good sharpness & vibrant color & saturation with effective tight framing. The duck seemingly floating in mid air adds a surrealistic abstract element. Tfs!

Love this so colourful and artistic. Has an impressionist feel about it and would look good hanging on any gallery wall. Superb observation and presentation.
Warm regards - Brian.

Une chance que le canard est dans l'image pour remettre les choses en perspective.Il ne se doute même pas du spectacle qui se déroule sous ses yeux. Les couleurs sont magiques.

Like an impressionist painting, beautiful.
ikeharel (48302) 2012-05-10 7:59
That's an amazing inverted reflection, Malgo, I was astonished when saw it on first time: only in Holland this can be taken...Beautiful colors and light upon water surface. A flawless photojob done.
Kielia (22293) 2012-05-10 8:25
a very moody composition; you have excellently realized the artistic potential of these beautiful reflections! Very harmonious and gentle colors and an excellent perspective. This image is a pleasure for the eyes. My compliments!

... ed anche per Giorgio :-)) che adora i riflessi!
Evidentissimo e bellissimo l'effetto pittura, l'immagine perde quasi i connotati della fotografia per entrare nel campo della pittura, complimenti.
Un caro abbraccio

You have turned everything upside down but the duck is still swimming peacefully with his head up whether inverted or not. Of course a mill is the optimal object to invert in the Netherlands, and so much better when you have it surrounded by such bright and clear colours.

A nice cvariation of the usual windmill picture we see from Holland. This windmill from Keukenhof looks beautiful in the gently rippled waters creating a water painting like impression. The duck adds to the picture & I also like the triangle of green in the FG
Have posted another Thailand picture

Je fais partie des amateurs de reflets inversés et cette image me comble. les couleurs sont extras, le cadrage excellent et le petit canard est la cerise sur le gâteau.

Hello Malgorzate. Reflections are really a special area of photography. The photo with the windmill and the duck is completely successful. For me it is a true work of art. It's fun to look at these photos. Rgds, Wolfgang.

A lovely piece of work that looks like an oil painting, dynamic with lovely abstract forms of a fine reflection shot which suits the mood pretty well. Very well composed and exposed image I simply love intensity of colors and tones to this inverted image portraying a completely different "feel". Very well done.
jusninasirun (17152) 2012-05-11 8:40
This is really fantastic composition dear MAlgo. I like the artwork reflected on the surface and you have done well inverting it making the people upright. Well seen and captured shot.
Thanks and have a nice day.

Its really a nice shot with such a nice reflection. The contrast is great and the line coming from the down left side is wonderful. Great shot.

Ciao cara Malgo,
thanks for your kind mention in your note, dear friend, this reflection is simply wonderful, even if I prefer the version not inverted like that of the WS. The quality of this image is perfect, seems to admire a painting, but I especially appreciate the choice of the subject reflects. The secret to getting a good picture with reflections is just choose the right subject, as you did. BRAVA!!!
Ciao, buona settimana! (do you remember a bit of italian?) :-)
Il Generale :-)))

It's a really nice one:)! And I like it inverted! The colours and the little distortion caused by the water movement is perfect! And the duck is a very nice detail! Well framed!

One reflection photo deserves another i guess :)
Its awesome to see the Iconic windmills of the Netherlands displayed in a reflection for a change.
having the people along the bottom is also another nice addition.
love the colors and abstract lines.
