Photographer's Note

Every year in June (the whole month) the Holland Festival can be visited. It started in 1947 and you can visit artistic projects from all over the world. It's for free so a real cloggie can not resist, well it's a more international happening so it's very multicultural. But where do you see a very good acrobatic team doing their moves for free. Normally it will cost you the entree to a circus, so you saved your self 20 euros, at least. Most cloggies forget that coming by train cost you 25 euros pp. but hey it’s “gezellig”. You must know this word when you are in Holland, it has no English equivalent. It comes close to cosy, but not very close. Say it at least 20 times a day, even when you just visit the most boring movie ever, you always say, but it was "gezellig".
But to be a bit more serious it's a great festival and you should definitely visit this one when you are in Amsterdam.

Cheers,

Hans
