Another strange composition, this time from the beach in Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands. This was taken just before sunset, which explains the golden hues in the reflection. The red wheel belongs to the small beach traktor which function is to transport boats to the night storage place. The "laguna" in which the houses are reflected you could see in my previous post from this beach.

Morning Alexander,
A strange composition perhaps, but an effective one.
I like the contrast between the golden light on the reflected buildings and the more muted colours of the beach and wheel.
Your letterbox crop also works well here.
It's something a bit different, and all the better for that.

Cheers,
Ben

Hola Alexander:

He,he, indeed a strange composition Alexander. I see that you are making some original experiments and I like that. The wheel has a big impact and it seems bigger than its real size, especially in comparison with the image on the reflection. I like the combination of both and the panoramic format works well.
Ricardo

The reflection is beautiful Alexander, and I like it well, but I like more all this image with the light contrast and the wheel in a little out of focus, the composition is very good as the colors, compliments.
Ciao
Vinicio

Hallo Alexander,
In the first second of looking at this picture completely I did not know what′s what. However all became clearly when I looked deeper into the picture. All behind the matter of the puddle in which I diskovered buildings gilded with happening sun. The good photo widely framed, strong.
Heartily I greet,
Jurek

At first I thought this was dirty slushy snow. After reading your note it now makes sense. You have an excellent eye for the unusual and this strange composition works very well. I love the golden reflections in the band of water.

Hi Alex - strange but creative, the sunset reflected on the windows gives an interesting illusion of the lights being on inside the houses

Hi Alexander. A good one of its type! This particular puddle-reflection is enhanced by the at-first-glance unattached wheel and the tyre marks, to create a bizarre effect within the very close vertical cropping. Unusual but captivating.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Alexander!
This reflection it's absolutely amazing, clear and delicate compared with the rudeness of the wheel.
Beuatiful colors, nice POV and excellent focus.
TFS and best regards,
Rosa
