Heineken Experience is a beer museum with a touch of a theme park set up on the original brewery site near the centre of Amsterdam. Beer was brewed there until 1988.

The museum gives a good idea of beer making process and history of the company. Visit is interesting even if Heineken might not be your favourite brand.

Despite the title visitors under 18 years of age are admitted under parental guidance.

The best bit is the free beer and cheese at the end of the tour. A tip: tell them it's your birthday and they'll give you a free Heineken hat. They gave me one anyway.
Your shot is well framed, but I think I'd have preferred to see a bit of life. Of course, it's not a working brewery anymore, so maybe that wouldn't have been easy.

Hi Kari,

A very well-taken photograph. It looks as if the lighting was probably quite difficult and you could have had some very harsh reflections and highlights . You did well not to over-expose the highlights on those big, metal brewing tanks.

Nice, clean lines and sharp focussing too. The composition is good but I was just wandering whether if the tiled wall ended exactly down the middle of the photo it would improve it even more. Then you would have two vastly different and contrasting halves to the photo but which are obviously the same image. Just an idea...

Quite a refreshing view as the summer heat starts to invade our latitudes these days. I find your shot well composed with the logo on the left and the perspective on the huge copper tanks on the right. This must be an interesting visit.

Interesting & well framed shot. I like where everything is placed especially the logo & the copper tanks. This photo reminds me that I have a photo taken inside Coors brewery in Golden, Colorado. I'll have to check. Regards. Latiff.
