Val East Central Railroad is the Z scale model railroad of Jeffrey MacHan. It is built on three large suitcases and has visited dozens of model railway shows in USA and Canada and also in Germany, Netherlands and London. Nowadays VECRR is part of the permanent collection of the Canadian Railroad Museum - Exporail, but it still visits various events occasionally.

This detail picture is of the Val Ease East roundhouse as seen on the Eurospoor event in 2003. Eurospoor is one of the largest model railway events in Europe, held yearly in Utrecht, Netherlands.

he he got a nice model train for Xmas, I was a fan as well... with the Konica oldie you achieved a great focus on your subject and fine light all around, a nice photo that brings me back 30 years ;-)

Hi Kari,
For me as a Dutchman (who seldom takes the train) i have to respond on this one. Seeing the ws it only makes this image more complete en is very impressive to see. Your close up and very good framing does the rest...i like it..!!!

Ah! Boys and their toys. The engine sheds side-by-side remind me of the Thomas the Tank-engine stories I used to read to my son. It's probably not that easy to take such a close-up of an interior. Well done
