[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
An older area in Trondheim, around one of its docks, contains many old wooden factories, painted in copper or dusty red colours. This area has been transformed from a dull and unsightly part of town into a trendy and young cafe and bar scene.

During my first visit to Trondheim (a pleasant surprise, since I had never heard much about the place), I was amazed at the youthfulness of this apparently old town. A lot of this is due to the University of Trondheim, which dominates the population of this relatively tiny city.

I was walking over an old drawbridge in this part of town when I saw a local going for an afternoon kayaking excursion, right below the bridge. I snapped this shot quickly, and was lucky to do so on such a clear day. The reflection of the factories is what sells me on this.

Hi Soon,
Good shot, nice reflections of factories and clouds at water. It's possible to crop the right side would give more strained composition. But it's just my opinion and in general I like the picture. TFS, regards.

Good shot for the reflection and the left side of building, and the red boat just on the right area and catch our eyes.

Ha, very oryginal and interesting idea. I like it a lot. On thumbnail I could not recognize what it was, but now I see reflection of buildings. I wish it was sharper. Very well done.

the world upside down! very intresting diagonal composition. great pov. great reflections. well done. tfs

This was very well composed with the kayaker seemingly movign through the clouds. I really like the inclusion of the buildings in the upper left corner.

There's something really surprising in this picture, even confusing, and it makes it really appealing. Great pic!

Very nice shot
I like it

Original picture of the reflections in the Nidelv river !! I like it for the wake ok the kayak first and the reflections of the sky and the old buildings.

A very interesting diagonal too !!

Paul

Really great and inspired composition. TFS.

Really great shot Soon. Unusual POV, dynamic movement and super composition. I think the shot is slightly over-exposed (the reflecting light is a tiny bit glary) - but this is easily forgiven on a snapshot as clever and outstanding as this.

the reflection makes this picture very interesting... love it... well done!
Best Regads,
Maria.
