Lyngen Alps, Northern Norway. Who would have thought that a 2nd-World-War German fortress offers this spectacular view?
Perhaps it's not this much surprising to hear about a German fortress if we think about a much more common fact: German submarines were hiding in the deep fjords of Norway.
Up here, surrounded by the peaceful Lyngen Alps (in Troms kommune), they still had found a place to mark their steps.
