Brrr looks cold... it's not easy to create depth with the water but I think you succeeded here thanks to the tonal differences in the dark green range, and of course I like the background a lot !

man, this is awesome! Because of the lines in the water that seem to be all vertical, or at least going toward the mountain in the back, the picture looks "deep". Of course the pov as something to do with this too. The color of the water is fantastic. It's a beautiful place you show us here.

both ws would do fine as a "real" post. But I know your high standards!

Hi Tan,
The angle looks even wider than it is. Mountain peaks flattening between big sky and sea. Great view on beautiful weather. The green water looks like algae. I wonder if it's possible on warmer water brought by the Gulf stream.

very nice composition with great perspective and POV.The existents of the rocks in the foreground, create an enderless depth of field with the snowy Mt.to decorate so splendid the whole scene.I like the management of the colours and the light as the razor sharp focus.

Amazing shot with a stunning view. The water looks so beautiful and could indeed be mistaken for a place in the Mediteranean instead of Norway. You have created great depth here and you had great light conditions as well. Another fantastic shot!

Tan,
the color of the water is certainly quite an invitation for a nice swim, but certainly not with those snow capped mountains in the far background. Maybe some norwegian people do that and wait most of the year to get that right "warm" temperature for such a swim. Interesting to see that you got so mcuh refelction on the water despite the polarizing filter.

Hi, Tan. These waters are crystal clear and the stream passing between the two islands is an ideal lead into the photo. The snow-capped mountains nearly come as a shock in such a landscape. The contrast is the inviting waters and the cold snow. Very good depth and excellent sharpness.

The depth created by the different water colours / patterns on the sea bottom (?) is amazing here, and the picture is spectacular and balanced even without a clear fg interest, conveying perfectly the vastness of the nordic landscape.
