[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Odda, a small town at the end of the Hardangerfjord was once called Norway's ugliest town, because it was the centre of the norwegian heavy industry, although the region shows nothing but spectacularly beautiful scenery, blessed by a majestic landscape of mountains, a fjord and a glacier.
I hope to help with this picture to change the balance in the other direction...

Ugly?! Maybe the town, but no way your view! Kinda quaint really, cute colourful houses, perched on the hill like this. I think you have redressed the balance.. nice :) Casper

Hi Kris!
That's a picture with excellent POV, composition and sharpness!
It shows a very interesting and good looking town in Norway!
I'm sure that this photo will change the idea about this town being ugly... at least, among TE members!
TFS - Congratulations!

PS.: Sorry, no points available at the moment, but the shot is worth lots of them!

Hi kris.

Lovely colourful picture! The wide variety of the colours in the houses is great!

Rgs, Oscar

Hello Kris.
A wonderful colorful town!
I'd like to live there!
I like this no-perspective shot, where all the buildings are apparently placed on a same plan.
Best regards.
Bobo.

kris

it is so strange, it is like an unreal town, created by a child or by a naif painter. Wonderful colors, pov, light, compo, everythings is nice here. fantastic work. congratulations

Bonjour Kris,
Superbe composition.

Interesting town, nice colors and funny pattern formed by the similar house molds. Overall good photo.

Hi Kris,
Fantastic framing with those beautiful colourful houses. And surely, it would help to promote the beauty of this small town.

Hi Kris, I like the repetition in the houses climbing up the steep hill, with the great variety of colour. It gives the town a bit of character I think. Nicely seen on your part, and taken from a very good position to give this kind of composition.

Thanks, John

Bonsoir Kris
j'ai aussi posté un photo ce quartier d'Odda prise lors de mon passage dans cette ville et c'est vrai qu'il transforme apporte de la couleur dans cet environnement industriel!!
un beau cadrage serré et des couleurs bien rendues
Beau travail, amicalement
Hervé

Hello Kris,
The picture is sharp with very good POV.
But your description doesn't match when you put it as the ugliest town. The multi colors of these houses are so unique that the town deserves to be
described as 'Gorgeous' as it is.

Good Picture,

Regards,
Hussein

Hi Kris!
Looks like a town on a model railway! Great POV and amazing colours.
Thank you for sharing!
Best regards
Harriet

Hi, Kris. I think it's a paradise for photographers. The variety of colours is a real bliss here. Amazing to see how the houses have been built on the slope. The contrasts are very good and very rich. I also like the trees that show nature is still present in the town.

Hi Kris!
What a nice patchwork of architecture.Great shot of these wonderful painted houses and good contrast with the soft green tones of the trees.

Hello Kris.
It seems at first glance something that has already met the eye with special places, its Norway.
But here add a distorted symmetry, which forms a concentrated other 20, 30 photos.
Congratulations
