This is a nice portrait of this lucky fisherman! Your composition is great placing the fisherman to one side with his catch providing balance. The lighting and colors are fine as is the photos sharpness and detail.

Der Fisch wird nur halb so viel Freude wie der Angler haben ... ;-) Ein irgendwie mitreißendes Foto, das die das Glücksgefühl dieses Angler gut "rüberbringt". Und dann noch dieses gelbe Hemd ... Klasse!

What a happy fellow and what a fine fish too!

The sunlight is very strong here and I thought the shadows a little too dark. However, I tried playing around with this image and trying to lighten the shadows a little, but I could not manage to achieve anything in any way better than the original. So, well done! - it's fine as it is!

It looks like you have been spotted! Excellent almost-action shot. At least the fish still struggles on the line as we can see the motion blur on its tail. No wondre he's pleased; it's a lot bigger than the mackerel we get round here!

Hi Gunnar, have you also tried fishing? quite a big mackerel. I know only from the shop, but they are smaller. Nice yellow shirt and red:) cap.

The man looks happy and the fish looks good, the yellow shirt brightens the picture. The strong shades have made the man's face a bit dark. It would have been nice to see something more aesthetic on the right side, but cropping it would damage the balance of the composition, so I won't suggest it.

although now I am not a fan of fishing and don't approve of fishing "for fun" (not for surviving), my opinion about fishing does not relate to this photo, of course :)
VERY good capture! I like the moment. Though the lighting conditions seem to be rather difficult, you managed it :)
And the bright yellow colour of the t-shirt as signals to us: this is great!

une photo bien sympathique, avec du mouvement, ce poisson, on le devine, ne se laisse pas faire, mal à l'aise hors de l'eau.
Des couleurs vives mais un ciel trop exposé.
