Two views of another group of sculptures in Vigeland Park: the Fountain, here with some perspective toward the entrance of the park, and also in backlight in workshop.
Tomorrow I will post the last image of the park to close the voyage.

Another extract from the same site as yesterday http://www.fortunecity.com/westwood/arch/769/Vigeland/:
The Fountain
The Fountain is the earliest sculpture unit in the park. In the center of the basin, six giants hold the large saucer-shaped vessel aloft and from it a curtain of water spills down around them. The men, representing different ages, may be interpreted as toiling with the burden of life and the effort expended in lifting the heavy vessel varies. Water, a universal symbol of fertility, is used within the fountain complex in a meaningful juxtaposition with the twenty "tree groups" on the surrounding parapet, the latter evidently symbolizing the "tree of life."

The combination of human beings and trees in two meter high sculptures is one of Vigeland's most original concepts. The tree groups represent a romantic expression of Man's relationship to nature. They also form the setting for life's evolving stages, stretching from childhood and adolescence through adulthood to old age and death.

And a very week end to all.

Hello Emmanuel,

I remember Vigeland Park very well from a visit in 1994, just three years after you took this beautiful photograph. The sky is hauntingly beautiful, and the scan is especially successful. I will visit the link you've provided, since I do want to learn more about Norway's iconic sculptor. Many thanks,

Warm regards and have a good weekend,

Bulent

Bonjour Emmanuel;
un ciel somptueux.
Comme je les aime.
De la vie avec cette pièce d'au bien active.
Je trouve une petite dominante bleutée dans les gris au premier plan, peut-être un souci de calbrage de mon écran.
Un escellent week-end.
Daniel.

Hello Emmanuel,
The funny cloud and accurate composition make this look like a coal driven power plant in the thumbnail..!
Interesting evening light and fine details...
A well balanced composition with fine details!
Greetings,

:-) OK-

Salut Emmanuel, belle vue de cette fontaine, ton cadrage donne l'impression que les nuages sortent de la fontaine.

Bonjour Emmanuel,
You already told about the light conditions for your other posts from the Vigeland Park and it really looks fabulous indeed. Especially the clouds look fantastic. Good composition too with the fountain nicely located on the right hand side and again a good inclusion of the people. Thanks for sharing!
Regards,
Lars

Hi Emmanuel. Wow that’s an impressive sky you have captured as a backdrop. You have handled the light well to retain some detail in the shadows. Well composed and thanks for sharing.
Happy Easter, Paul.

Hi Emmanuel,

This is a very fascinating sky above this beautiful fascinating sculpture garden I visit once a long time ago.
The air is very clear and the atmosphere therefore very sharp.
